Representatives from the BBC Children In Need spent time with Cherry Tree's Year 4 Ash class. They met with lots of schools but Cherry Tree students were selected to take part in the Children in Need programme. The children will be filmed doing various activities that will be shown on TV during the fundraising event.

The funds raised during Children In Need events throughout the UK help children across the country, Organisations supporting disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. can also apply for grants each year. Donations can be made here: £25 funds an activity workshop for a group of children in a hospice, giving them the opportunity to express their feelings, have fun and enjoy their childhood. £50 means a specialist carer can visit and support a seriously ill child at home, improve her wellbeing and make her feel less isolated.
