Cheska Tyler, Headteacher, Cherry Tree
Cheska Tyler is an experienced primary school leader who has worked in education for 15 years, including the last six years as Headteacher of Cherry Tree Primary School within The Inclusive Multi Academy Trust in Hertfordshire, UK.
Throughout her career, Cheska has worked across diverse and multicultural school communities and is passionate about creating ambitious, inclusive and nurturing environments where children and staff can thrive. Under her leadership, Cherry Tree has achieved significant school improvement, secured numerous national accreditations and awards, and developed a strong reputation for inclusion, wellbeing and community engagement alongside strong academic outcomes.
Alongside her headship, Cheska is an active system leader and currently leads the Watford and Abbots Collaborative Headteacher Network, supporting collaboration and professional development across local schools. She has completed both the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL), and is currently undertaking a Masters in Strategic Leadership.
Cheska is deeply committed to developing people and building strong school cultures rooted in integrity, aspiration and care. She believes passionately in education as a vehicle for social opportunity and community transformation.
Outside of school, Cheska enjoys travelling, long-distance running and spending time with family and friends.
