COO receives the ISBL CEO award for exceptional contribution to school business leadership.

Sharon Carlyon has been recognised by the CEO of the Institute of School Business Leaders in his annual awards at last week’s national conference.

The institute supports the school business professional workforce with access to professional development opportunities to ensure practitioners have the most positive impact on our education system and consequently life chances for all pupils.

She won the award for her contribution to raising the status of the school business profession and in supporting collaboration across school business professionals.

She said: "I am delighted to have won this award. It’s lovely to receive such recognition. The school business leadership role is constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing educational landscape. Collaboration with fellow professionals is so important and particularly so during the recent pandemic. I am extremely proud to work with professionals across the sector and with such a dedicated team at an amazing trust."
