We require an enthusiastic, talented and committed Pastoral Leader to be part of our Senior Leadership Team from April 2019. A September start can also be arranged for the right candidate. You will lead pastoral care across our school, working with some of our most vulnerable children as well as a range of stakeholders including staff, parents, other schools and external professionals.
Beechfield School is part of the Inclusive Multi Academy Trust which was established to Inspire and nurture our children and their community to be the very best that they can be. Our Trust ethos centres around well trained, fully supported and happy staff who work together to make a genuine difference. We put the mental health and wellbeing of our children, parents and staff at the forefront of all we do. We know that this approach leads to well rounded, happy children who strive to achieve their best in all aspects of school life. We truly believe that our Trust team genuinely makes a difference every day.
This is an exciting time to join the Trust as we strive to become the first Trust in the UK to achieve the National Nurturing Schools award. This programme supports staff to embed a nurturing culture throughout the school, enhancing teaching and learning, promoting healthy outcomes for children and young people. This is achieved by focusing on emotional needs and development as well as academic learning in a whole school environment.
You will receive support from a dedicated mentor who will guide you through an excellent CPD programme which offers bespoke support and training, as well as the opportunity to learn from senior staff, including other pastoral leaders across the Trust in a truly collaborative way.
